This notice explains how GGE.gg ("GGE", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit https://gge.gg or any page that links here. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the site. Questions? Contact [email protected].

1. Information we collect

Account & profile data: When you sign in via Discord, Twitch, or another OAuth provider we receive your platform user ID, username, avatar, and any roles we assign inside GGE.
Security & device data: We log IP addresses, Cloudflare headers, browser/OS metadata, and login timestamps to detect VPN/proxy abuse, prevent duplicate claims, and enforce bans.
Support interactions: Messages you send to moderators or support (Discord tickets, emails, forms) so we can respond and maintain an audit trail.
Cookies & analytics: Essential cookies keep the site running; optional Google Analytics cookies provide aggregate stats only if you opt in. See Section 3.

2. How we use the information

Authenticate accounts and keep your session alive.
Operate raffles, leaderboards, and loyalty rewards.
Investigate abuse, prevent multi-accounting, and secure payments.
Respond to support tickets and moderation reports.
Measure site performance and improve UX (analytics only after consent).

3. Cookies & similar technologies

Our banner and policy stay synchronized. Current cookies include:

PHPSESSID – Essential session cookie (~48 hours) that keeps you logged in.
UUID – Essential device ID (up to 10 years) used to prevent duplicate/abusive accounts.
load_content – Essential short flag (≈10 seconds) that completes secure event redirects.
Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_*, _gid) – Optional analytics cookies; they only load when you opt in.

You can accept all cookies, toggle analytics on/off, or reject essentials entirely (which redirects you away and clears the choice). We do not store refusal data, so visitors who reject analytics are prompted again on their next visit.

4. Sharing & disclosures

Service providers: Cloudflare (security/CDN), Amazon IVS (video), Google (analytics if enabled), Discord OAuth, and our hosting provider.
Moderation/support: Trusted staff may view relevant account details to resolve disputes or enforce community rules.
Legal compliance: We may disclose data when required by law or to cooperate with game/platform partners investigating abuse.

5. Retention

Session/security logs: up to 90 days unless an investigation requires more time.
UUID cookie & related fraud records: up to 10 years.
Support tickets/moderation notes: retained while the account exists or until a dispute is closed.
Analytics data: per Google Analytics standard retention (currently 26 months) and only for visitors who consented.

6. Your choices & rights

Adjust cookie consent with the site’s “Manage preferences” link or by clearing browser storage.
Opt-out of analytics anytime by turning off the GA switch in the consent modal.
Request access or deletion of your account data by emailing [email protected]. We may keep limited records needed for security or legal obligations.
Disable device location or use browser privacy controls to limit automatically collected metadata.

7. Updates & contact

We update this notice if we add new features or tracking technologies. Continued use after updates indicates acceptance.
